About Our Campground

Originally known as the Christmas Ranch of Idaho and opened in July 2005, we are continually exceeding the expectations of today's modern Big Rigs.  We have completed Phase I offering such things as 20/30/50 amp service, water, sewer, and Cable TV to 21 30X80 Pull Thru Sites, Tent Area, Spacious Rec. Building, FREE WiFi (Wireless Internet) throughout the park, Laundromat, Propane Fill Station, picnic & BBQ area, and more!  We have now completed Phase II which added camping cabins.  Phase III will complete the resort by including gravel tent pads, additional group tent camping, more RV sites, children's play area, miniature golf, and more!

In July 2007, Chris & Nancy Bearden purchased the Christmas Ranch to continue the growth of the wonderful new RV Park and have since renamed it to the Bear Den RV Resort.  We know you will find your stay enjoyable and wish to share the excitement of our growth with you on your return visits for many years to come.

Chris Bearden, originally from Las Vegas, is a family man.  Turning in his hat to the 20 hour work day's and fast paced corporate structure to a new life here in Grangeville.  Chris has decided to slow down and enjoy his wonderful wife and 4 beautiful children.

In the short time we've been here, we have had numerous comments about how folks have enjoyed their stay and that they plan to come again soon.  They have commented time and again about how clean and nice everything is.
